1. Information we collect
1.1 Registration data
When you create your TikJobs account, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Selected role (candidate or recruiter)
- City and country
1.2 Published content
Candidates can upload professional presentation videos. This content is stored on secure servers (Cloudflare Stream) and displayed publicly in the feed according to user settings.
1.3 Contact data
Candidates can optionally share their WhatsApp number and email. This data:
- Is only revealed when a recruiter unlocks the profile by paying a credit
- Is not shown publicly unless the candidate has an active Premium Plan
- Can be deleted at any time from profile settings
1.4 Usage data
We collect anonymous browsing data to improve the experience: pages visited, usage time, device, operating system, and approximate location (country/city).
1.5 Payment data
Payments are processed through Stripe. TikJobs does not store credit card data or sensitive financial information. Stripe complies with PCI DSS Level 1.
2. How we use your data
- Providing the service: displaying videos, connecting candidates with recruiters, processing payments
- Communications: unlock notifications, system messages, important updates
- Service improvement: anonymous analytics to improve UX and performance
- Security: preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only in these cases:
- Recruiters who unlock your profile: receive your WhatsApp and email after paying a credit
- Service providers: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (video/CDN), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting)
- Legal requirements: if required by law
4. Your rights
As a TikJobs user, you have the right to:
- Access all your personal data
- Rectify incorrect information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Portability: request a copy of your data in standard format
- Revoke consent for non-essential communications

5. Data retention
- Account data: while the account is active
- Videos: while the candidate keeps them
- Payment data: per tax requirements (up to 5 years)
- Usage logs: 90 days
When you delete your account, all your personal data and videos are deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
6. Security
We implement the following security measures:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
- Secure authentication with Supabase Auth
- Row Level Security (RLS) in database
- Role-based access control
- Continuous access monitoring
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for service operation (session, preferences). We do not use third-party cookies for advertising purposes.
8. Minors
TikJobs is intended for people over 16 years old. We do not intentionally collect data from minors under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify significant changes by email or through a notice on the platform.
